A Visit to the Fishermen’s Village
You will be taken to the small fishermen’s village outside of Riga, at a distance of 1 hour drive from the city centre. Here you will have a chance to get real-life fishing experience going out in the sea with two big wooden fishing boats or in a small fishing ship together with real fisherman.
The fisherman will take you for 1-hour tour in the Bay of Riga and the River Engure. During the tour you will
hear stories about past and present life of fishermen and their families, the sea and fishes. After the tour you will be invited to visit fishermen’s house and his smoke-house, as well as you will be offered to tasted fresh smoked fish and lax soup made on the open-fire.
We can run it for groups of 50 persons
