At the Āgenskalns market you will be able to taste local beer, buy fresh dairy products from “Straupes milk”. Then enjoy fresh bread from “Grauda spēks”, “Better Bread” and “Lāči” bakery. Finbally, taste the best coffee at “Kalve Coffee”. On the second floor are located bars and cafes, such as “VEST” bar, “Marmelāde”, “Vīnkalni” pizza, “Ausmena” kebab and others.

As well as, you will have a chance to sample a wide variety of local foods and beverages. From fresh fish and meat to artisanal cheeses and breads, there’s something for every taste bud. On top of it, you will get to try traditional dishes like biezpiena sieriņš, a type of Latvian cottage cheese. As well as, unique delicacies like smoked eel and sprats.
